Celebrating the new year in London!

It was the most gorgeous thing i’ve ever seen in my life!!!! It was AMAZING standing there infront of the London eye during that GORGEOUS firework display!!!! The feeling is indescribable! If it has the wow-factor on tv… it had the MEGA WOW-factor in real life!

Also the fact they used music this year was something i’d hoped for! This was choreographed beautifully and all I keep thinking is how lucky I am to have witnessed this in real life! Every year at 1am Dutch time I tuned into the BBC to watch this amazing spectacle and wished I was there! This year it finally happened, I was there and I couldn’t wished for a better firework show!
I am so gratefull, I had a smile from ear to ear and my eyes got enormous during the whole 10 minute show, I had this look of utter amazement on my face the whole time. And now when I look at the footage I get teary eyed because of the fact I was there.
That was the best 10 minutes of my life!!!! And i’m sure it’s the first of many more to come! What a way to start the new year!

People like this were the downside though!



People like this really disgust me… disturbing the peace by getting pissed and picking fights. It’s incredibly dangerous to lose control of yourself by taking drugs in a crowd of 250.000 people!
I SO wanted to punch that guy to the ground, just so that he would leave everyone alone!
I didn’t ofcourse, it’s not really in my nature but I filmed as much as I could in case the police needed evidence.
Please… THINK before you drink. Know your limit!

A total of 77 people were arrested that evening, which is probably the reason why it took a while for the police to arrive. The police did a great job, they finally got the respect they deserved for keeping the peace by taking away these idiots.
